Being a Resource for Current Students
Alumni are a great resource for current students! Not only are we here to serve you, we would love to engage with you to create opportunities for exploration, education, and employment for current students.
Here are some ways in which alumni can help current students:
- Offering Internship Opportunities
- Hosting Shadowing Experiences
- Serving as Informational Interviewees
- Providing Housing
- Sharing Job Opportunities
- Serving as a Mentor
- Participating in on-campus events, such as the Alumni Connections Social and alumni panels
- Joining our LinkedIn group, Warren Wilson College Career Connections, to connect with fellow alumni and current students
- Signing up as an employer with OWLink, our online jobs board, to post opportunities for our students.
Share your Story
Alumni stories show current students how others have shaped their Triad experience and connected it to the world beyond Wilson. We work with Alumni Affairs to showcase these stories online and around campus, and our office uses these stories during presentations and workshops.
