This search box is the library’s new “one-search” discovery service. Rather than having to search the library catalog and the multitude of available databases individually, the idea with the new search service is that all of our resources can be discovered from one search point.
At the moment, about 95% of our content is accessible through the new search box. We are anxious to hear your feedback about the new service. Also, please let us know if you encounter problems or have any questions. A chat option is available from within the service (when a librarian is logged on to chat with you); or, you can send us any comments or questions from the “Ask A Librarian” link under “Get Help” on the main menu bar of the library web site. If you don’t need immediate help, you can also use the general “feedback” link at the top right of the search service screen.
Also, if you prefer, remember that you can continue to use all of the familiar, previously available resources individually in their native interfaces. Those can be found under “Find > Databases” on the library web site menu bar.
